KD*P or DKDP crystals are widely used in Q-switching applications at wavelength range from 0.25µm to approximately 1.1 µm,If the deuterium content is higher the absorption edge of the material is shifted further into the infrared. KD*P crystal cells with a deuterium content >98% can be used up to 1.3μm. KD*P can be grown with high optical uniformity and is therefore recommended for large apertures. Hangzhou Shalom EO offers the DKDP crystals of high deuteration (>98%) for KD*P pockels cells applications, the customized blanks, polished crystals and the AR coating and Cr-Au electroded crystal components are available upon your request .

BBO is one of the electro-optic material choices for high average power pockels cell applications. BBO has significant advantages over other materials in terms of laser power handling abilities, temperature stability, and substantial freedom from piezoelectric ringing. Because it relies on the electro optic effect, switching time - aided by the low capacitance of the Pockels cell is very fast. The wide transparency range of BBO allows it to be used in diverse applications. Double crystal design is employed in order to reduce required voltages and allowing operation in half-wave mode with fast switching times. Hangzhou Shalom EO offers the BBO crystals used in the pockels cells with AR coating and Cr-Au electrodes, stocked crystals of standard specifications is provided, and the customized special crystals is available upon customer’s request.

LiNbO3 crystals have become one of the most commonly used material for Q-switches and phase modulators for its high EO coefficients, with an electric field applied transverse to the direction of light propagation, LiNBO3 cells can be configured to operate at a lower voltage than comparable KD*P cells. LiNbO3 can also be a good choice for infrared wavelengths as long as 3.0 µm. Hangzhou Shalom EO offers the polished, and AR coating and Au-Cr electroded LiNbO3 crystals used in pockels cells.

MgO:LiNbO3 crystals have become one of the most commonly used material for Q-switches and phase modulators for its high EO coefficients, MgO:LiNbO3 has a higher damaging threshold than the non-doping LiNbO3 crystals. With an electric field applied transverse to the direction of light propagation, LiNBO3 cells can be configured to operate at a lower voltage than comparable KD*P cells. LiNbO3 can also be a good choice for infrared wavelengths as long as 3.0 µm. Hangzhou Shalom EO offers the polished, and AR coating and Au-Cr electroded MgO:LiNbO3 crystals used in pockels cells.

Gray track damage is a serious damage to which conventional flux-grown KTP crystal is susceptible, the hydrothermal-grown KTP has high damage threshold and high ability to anti gray track (damage threshold: ≥2GW/cm2 (@1064nm,TEM00,10ns,10Hz)), and furthermore it has a high resistivity, which makes it suitable for making electro-optic devices with excellent properties. Hangzhou Shalom EO provides a variety of HGTR KTP crystals used in the pockels cells.

TeO2 (Tellurium Dioxide) is an excellent acousto-optic (AO) crystal with high AO figure of merit, birefringence, good optical rotation and slow propagation velocity along [110] direction. The resolution of AO devices made of TeO2 crystals will increase several levels than others. It is an ideal crystals for applications of AOM (acousto-optic modulators), AOD (acousto-optic deflectors), AOTF (acousto-optic tunable filters), laser Q-switches and RF spectrum analyzers ect. TeO2 crystals can be used in the field of astronomy, laser publishing, laser recorder and so on.
